macOS 12+ · Universal (Apple Silicon & Intel)
Kanbanero organises work into boards, columns, and tasks. Add columns for the stages of your workflow: To Do, In Progress, Done, or whatever fits. Drag tasks between them as work moves forward. Click any task to edit it. ⌘N creates a new task instantly.
Columns can be renamed and reordered by dragging. Save any board as a template to reuse across projects. When you have multiple boards, ⌘L brings up the project list so you can switch without losing focus. Appearance is customisable too: light and dark themes, fonts, colour accents, and animated shader backgrounds.
No accounts. No cloud. No tracking. Your boards never leave your machine unless you choose to sync them.
Every board is a readable JSON file in a folder you pick. Back it up, diff it, script it, stash it in Git.
Minimal UI. Smooth drag and drop. Light and dark themes. No notifications, no nagging, no upsells.
A real Mac app. Opens instantly. Works offline. Keyboard shortcuts for common actions.
Store boards in your project repo. Diff them on PRs. Edit them in your editor if you want. It's just JSON.
Save any board as a template. Spin up new projects in seconds. Switch between boards with ⌘ L.

In a folder you pick. Every board is a plain .json file you can open in any text editor, back up, diff, or commit to Git.
Yes. Just put your boards folder in iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Syncthing, or a Git repo. Kanbanero stays out of it: sync is whatever you already use.

Yes, it's a universal binary and requires macOS 12 or later.
